About Simsimsim

Simsimsim is an online travel eSIM store at simsimsim.net. We sell prepaid mobile data plans for travelers: you choose a destination, pick a plan, and receive an eSIM you install on your phone with a QR code. There is no physical SIM and no app to download.

What we sell

• Data-only eSIM plans for 186 countries, plus regional plans (for example Europe and Asia) and global plans.
• Fixed-data plans and day-pass plans. A day pass gives you a set amount of full-speed data per day; after that, data keeps working at a reduced speed.
• 5G where the local operator offers it. Operator names are listed on each country page.
• Buy now, install later. An unused plan stays valid for up to 180 days before you activate it.
• Top-ups on the same eSIM for most plans, without a new QR code, while the plan is active.

The plans are data only. They do not come with a phone number.

How we work

Simsimsim is fully automated: choosing a plan, delivering the eSIM and applying our published rules run without a person in the loop. That keeps the process predictable, and the rules apply to everyone in the same way.

Behind the scenes, our plans run on the networks of local mobile operators through network partners. The country page shows the operators and network type (4G or 5G) for the destination.

What to expect

• Plain rules. Our refund policy is public and tiered: a full refund if you never install the eSIM, with shorter windows after that.
• Honest comparisons. We compare ourselves with other eSIM providers using their public pages and tell you the date we checked. See Airalo vs Simsimsim and the other comparisons in that section.
• Online payment is still being finished. Until it opens, you cannot pay for a plan on the site. Plan pages show what each plan includes.
