Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Simsimsim (simsimsim.net) handles personal data. We collect as little as we need to sell and deliver an eSIM. We do not sell your data. Questions or requests: support@simsimsim.app.

What we collect

• Email address. Needed to send your eSIM (QR code and activation details), receipts and support replies.
• Order details. The plan, destination, price, date, order ID and the identifiers of the eSIM profile (such as the ICCID) so that we can deliver it, show its status and handle refunds.
• Payment status. Payments are handled by payment processors. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded, its amount and a reference, but not your full card number. For crypto payments we receive the transaction reference.
• Messages you send us. If you write to support, we keep the conversation and anything you attach.
• Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and error logs, collected by our hosting and security systems to run the site, prevent abuse and fix faults.
• Language preference. Your choice of English, Russian or Ukrainian may be stored in your browser.

You do not need to give us your phone number, passport or address to buy an eSIM.

Why we use it

• To deliver the eSIM you bought and show you its status (performance of the contract).
• To process payments, refunds and discounts, and to keep records we are required to keep (contract and legal obligation).
• To answer your questions and fix problems (legitimate interest).
• To protect the site and customers against fraud, abuse and attacks (legitimate interest).

We do not use your data for advertising profiles and we do not send marketing email unless you ask for it.

Who receives it

• Payment processors that take your payment.
• Our network and eSIM supply partners, who receive the order details needed to create and activate the eSIM.
• Email delivery and hosting providers that send our messages and serve the site.
• Authorities, only where the law requires it.

These providers may only use the data to provide their service to us. Some of them are located outside your country; where required, we rely on safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and similar storage

The site uses only what it needs to work, such as remembering your language. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics later, we will update this page first.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for as long as needed for refunds, accounting and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up. Server logs are kept for a short period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the EU or UK), you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or move it to another service. Write to support@simsimsim.app from the address you used for your order, and we will answer within one month. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The site is not meant for children under 16. Please do not buy a plan if you are under 16 without a parent or guardian.
