Does the Spain eSIM work on iPhone and Android?+
Yes. Works on iPhone XS or later, Pixel 3 or later, Galaxy S20 or later, and most modern unlocked Androids. No physical SIM slot needed. Your phone connects to Orange or Movistar once the eSIM activates in Spain.
How fast will I receive my eSIM after purchase?+
Within 60 seconds. The QR code is emailed automatically after Stripe confirms payment. You can install it immediately and activate when you land in Spain — first connection to Orange or Movistar triggers activation.
Does this eSIM include voice calls and SMS?+
No. All plans are data-only — there are no voice minutes or SMS included. Use WhatsApp, Telegram, FaceTime, or other VoIP apps over the data connection.
Can I keep my home SIM active while using this?+
Yes. The eSIM installs as a secondary line. Your primary SIM stays active so you can still receive calls and SMS on your home number while using Spain eSIM for data.
What speed will I get in Spain?+
5G where available, 4G LTE elsewhere. We route via Orange or Movistar, which gives you the same coverage as a local resident's SIM. Remote areas and rural zones may fall back to LTE — normal for the geography, not an eSIM limit.
What happens when my data runs out?+
You can top up the same eSIM from your Simsimsim dashboard with another Spain plan, or buy a plan for a different country if you're moving on. The eSIM profile stays installed.
Is hotspot / tethering supported?+
Yes. All our Spain plans allow hotspot sharing to other devices (laptop, tablet, etc.) with no extra fees or speed throttle. Hotspot routes through Orange or Movistar just like the phone itself.
What's the refund policy?+
Three tiers. (1) Never installed — 180 days full cash refund. If you never scanned the QR (trip cancelled, plans changed), money back to your card. (2) Installed but never activated — 30 days full cash refund after we verify zero usage. (3) Activated within 30 days — 100% Simsimsim credit (valid 12 months on any plan), cash refund unavailable after activation.
